Grape varieties: Limnio, Roditis, Xinomavro.
Harvest: Beginning-middle of September for the Limnio and the Roditis, middle of October for the Xinomavro.
Vinification techniques: The free-run must remains in contact with the skins for 18 hrs. The must is collected and chilled. A slightly pink-skinned grape traditionally grown in the Peloponnese. The vine is susceptible to powdery mildew. It ripens late, yet retains its acidity even though it is primarily grown in the hotter climate of central Greece.
