Kritikos Topikos - Dry Red

Kritikos Topikos Red
Type: Red dry wine classified as "Local Wine". Produced from select grapes of the varieties "Liatiko" and "Mandilari". It ages and matures in oaken French barrels.
Qualities: A deep ruby colour with a distinctive sheen. A delicate distinctive aroma. A pleasant 'body with a velvety aftertaste. A high quality which is a result of careful production in the modern winery of the Association of Agricultural co-operatives of Sitia as well as the ideal climatic conditions of the region where the mountainous vineyards of Sitia lie.
Serving Suggestions: Served at 15o-18oC in order to underline its flavours and aroma. It complements dishes with a white or red sauce, grilled or stewed meats as well as with cheese.


Kritikos Topikos - White

Kritikos Topikos White
Type: White dry wine classified as "Local Wine". Made from select grapes of the varieties "Vilana" and "Moschato" and "Thrapsathiri".
Qualities: Its distinctive crystal clear color. Its delicate and pleasantly fruity aroma and balanced taste. Its high quality, as a result of the careful production and processing.
Serving Suggestions: Served at 10-11o C. Goes with dishes with a white sauce and seafood.



Toplou Estate, Grete

Toplou Estates wine
A natural sweet wine made from the Eliatiko grape variety in the Toplou Monastery in Sitia. After harvest, the grapes are laid out on straw mats to dry in the sun. The grapes are then pressed and vinified in the solera method. It is a deep ruby color with rich earthy aromas and flavors. Type: Red sweet wine. Produced from the exquisite variety "Liatiko" with the ancient technique of the dried-in-the-sun wines, with the care and knowledge of the monks from the Toplou Monastery.
Qualities: It has a ruby red colour, a pleasant aroma of cherry, dried fruit and nuts and an elegant and velvety flavour.

Serving Suggestions: It is a magnificent after-dinner wine served preferably at 8-10 C.
