selections. It's like a challenge - Yanni's dares you to try everything it offers
For regulars and neighborhood residents, the extensive menu is perhaps the greatest
thing about Yanni's - 14 appetizers, 14 house specialties, no shortage of chicken
dishes. Calamari? Keep thinking - there are four variations. Don't eat meat? No
worries. You, too, have plenty of options The food's good, and the staff is friendly.

"It's definitely my favorite restaurant"
I've been to Yanni's probably 5 or 6 times, and it's true, the service is very friendly but slow! BUT, the food is so amazing that I just don't care how long it takes. It's definitely my favorite restaurant and I will be going back as often as possible. If you have the time, it's a great place to eat!

"Great Neighborhood Spot"
Yanni's is exactly what a neighborhood restaurant should be: friendly, homey, unpretentious, and delicious. If you live within a block of the restaurant you can smell the garlic chicken spit roasting every evening and it's very difficult to refuse. Try to flaky and flavorful spanakopita, the huge portions of authentic gyros, or of course, the succulent garlic chicken, packed with melt in your mouth flavor. Even if you don't live nearby, take a trip and try it out. I guarantee you'll consider moving closer to Greenwood.

If the name Yanni evokes an image of a New Age musician famous for his flowing
tresses and romance with actress Linda Evans, you obviously don't live in Greenwood.
Here the name Yanni conjures only one vision: a popular Greek restaurant owned and operated,
since 1984, by the Avgoustiou family. Their casual cafe's blue-and-white storefront
opens onto a Big Fat Greek dinner house beloved for its fried calamari,
spit-roasted chickens, modest prices and generous portions.
