The shingles and double fascia boards play games with the sunlight and shadows. A band of cedar shingles is cut to a meandering pattern to evoke mountains and clouds, ebb and flow, and stream riffles and flooding streams. The syncopated rhythm amidst the regular march of the large shingle pattern is a reminder as well that life has its playful moments.
