1. Drinking Water Filtration -
the Blueprint SurvivalT family container provides high-quality potable water for 10 active people per day with 2.5 gallons
towards drinking, cooking and washing. The total onboard water storage is 475 US gallons, which can last for 19+ days if it's
used conservatively. The container is equipped with chlorine injection, sediment removal, water softening, carbon block filtration,
reverse osmosis and ultra violet protection to kill the smallest of micro-organisms.
[Note- Ultra-violet technologies are widely
used to combat biological terrorism.] When the water needs to be replenished, the source of water replenishment can be emergency
agencies, rain, fresh water lakes and streams, wells, existing utilities available, etc.
2. Pressure Boosting -
the container provides for adjustable pressure boosting capable of 10-40 pounds per square inch (PSI), with delivery of up
to 10 gallons per minute.
3. Potable Hot Water Production –-
A separate tank of 75 US gallons of drinking water is provided for clinic and domestic uses.
This tank can be heated by solar energy, wind energy or a generator.
4. Electricity Production – -
An LP fuel 12KW generator delivers a wide range of dependable power with 50 amps at 120/240 voltage.
It can be used to power electric appliances and lighting as needed.
5. Energy Sustainability – -
The container is self-sustaining, providing both solar-heated water and solar electricity to be utilized as a primary source of electricity and hot water.
The container not only produces energy independently, but also stores electricity and thermal hot water so as to minimize generator run time. Quick set up
for external "Solar Tree" assemblies are provided for both solar water and solar electricity. The container can be located in a designated area while solar
trees can be placed in nearby remote locations best suited for solar collection. The container will provide all prescribed functions, but depending upon solar availability,
the functions may be in a limited capacity. The Solar Trees provided are easy to pack up rapidly and transfer with the container should relocation become necessary.
In addition, depending on location, wind energy is a viable source of energy for electricity. Wind energy features can be added to containers upon request.
6. Cogeneration– -
The container utilizes a water-tubed jacket on the generator exhaust piping to produce hot water for storage during generator run-time.
